Kev - I've used the following & it added up to £29

39mm Truss clamps eBay £14
Stainless eye bolts £ 5
Classic mini rocker cover rubbers & washer kit
eBay £10

Stable, cushioned, removable and it works, the clamps stay attached to the rack when not in use, no drilling or badly designed fitting to install

They work well and have not moved. More than adequate to hold the weight.

I ordered a set recently, and will report back on how they work - or not - with the tall roll hoops I have. I think there is enough space under the headrest cushion to mount them, but we'll see... Thanks!

I carefully put them behind the seatback - never really used them and prefer the clean look. 😎

Ah another organ donor hide

On one occasion I realized "What's the point?" I likened it to a gummy bear in a ball of xmas tinsel. Just squeeze and you'll see the result.

What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

Love it. I don't suspect the Morgan would do well in a crash test with or without seat belts. I personally prefer to drive it without a helmet but don't like the hoop/scrambler sitting behind my head.

A 'more mature' MTWC friend of mine tells the story of when a sudden rear tyre deflation caused his 3 wheeler to roll. Seatbelts hadn't been invented back then and he was thrown out of the car. He lived to tell the tale but is convinced that he wouldn't have been so lucky if he'd been belted in. Having said that, I always wear my seatbelt and just try not to think too much about the consequences of landing upside-down!

The guys who are thrown halfway out and get crushed by the side of their car as they roll never live to tell their tale.

I wear the seatbelt and helmet, I figure it might add 5 or 10 miles per hour to the speed at which a crash is survivable.

I lost a daughter in a minor city streets accident due to not wearing seatbets. When ever the subject comes up I have to express MY opinion. Y'all can all be Masten Gregory and say I am better off jumping out, but remember those who love you should be able to express their opinion too.

I feel for you, I know I would be devastated.

I too feel the need to point out that small safety measures are worth it, thankfully not because of a personal tragedy though.
