I wish to replace my rocker switches on my 1980 Morgan plus 4 with the Lucas toggle switches . Do the original rocker switches operate with relays and do I need to install relays when replacing them with the new switches.

No relays are used with the original switches. If you are buying new Lucas toggle switches, be wary of the Chinese pattern stuff, when I did thins I found them to be rubbish and ended up using switches from the "Professional" range from Holdens.

I cannot agree more as regards the quality of the Chinese versions. I was under the impression that I was buying a British product . I already have the new switches now , but when I went into the Holden sight their switches look very similar . Can you maybe advise the better product to consider getting new ones. Thanks
