17 degrees today. And massive potholes. Detroit roads are the worst in the country. No Moraneering til spring. Will most likely make no difference, it might keep some of the Dust down! Most importantly it gave me an excuse to work out the garage for a few hours. Is it "Moraneering" , or "Moroneering"?😂

A slight difference bit only slight. Now I just hear the rollover valve rattle more.

I went and did the Dynamat as well and felt it was worthwhile. The good news is it was very easy to do and you did not need to be overly neat with the dynamat to get everything to fit back.

Has anyone tried using Flexseal or any other spray sealant to seal off all the small openings in the footwell area, down below the dashboard, and behind the seat? I am considering doing this to reduce the amount of dust and debris that finds its way into the cabin of the M3W.
Using the clear Flexseal should be fairly inconspicuous, and it should be fairly easy to apply.
What do you guys think?

Unfortunately most of the dust and debris is sucked into the cockpit from outside whilst on the move, as it becomes a low pressure area. This includes rain of course Whilst sealing any cracks is a noble exercise it will have little impact on debris accrued over time.

Totally agree. As part of the deep clean and refurb I am giving mine over the winter , I removed the interior side panels for the first time in four years of ownership. In between the chassis tube and the body panel was enough crud to grow tomatoes in. This ran from one end of the side panel near the seat belt fixing to the other and evenly distributed. It can only have got there via turbulence in the cockpit. The worrying thing is the effect all this is having on the chassis tubes themselves, the surface had started to become scaled in places

I had forgotten that the main thing was I stopped getting the dust from the rear compartment leaching up from the seats

Hi Nippy
It comes in from the back where the seatbelt buckle is bolted, between the body and chassis.
I did mine last weekend and have now sealed it off with 15mm foam pipe lagging as is the rear bulkhead all the way around its upper edge. As a bonus it helps keep the noise down as well.
