Thanks CBM,
You bring up the lack of cruise control, no doubt cruise control would be nice for a trip like this! I also doubt I will ever see 70 mph:) most US 2 lanes are 55 mph limit.
All the best.

My son and I are soundproofing and hopefully waterproofing the Spirit tomorrow. Any advice would be appreciated! Does anyone have experience with soundproofing the tunnel and transmission covers? Make a difference?

I signed up today and found it interesting reading.

I look forward to the adventures of a highly credentialed Pole Vaulter/author as a keen track & field follower my self - not to mention fellow Morgan owner.

Good luck

Seems like a road trip is the fashion at the moment. I attended a Club meeting last night where a Dutch couple gave a presentation on their World tour in a 1915 Model T Ford.

They have just finished New Zealand and are starting a complete circuit of Australia then on to Asia.

80 thousand Miles in a Model T, impressive....

Will you be on a tight schedule or will you have time to stop and visit or sightsee?
Looks like you will pass by my house during your travel thru Arkansas.

Hi Dolph,
I've tried to build in some flexibility into the schedule. I will need to drive +/- 250 mi per day. If you are close to the route, we should see up!
