The proper description of a bodge is "Temporary Repair".
I once congratulated an RAC man on a fantastic bodge when my friends County 90 lost the power feed to the diesel fuel pump.
The cable had chafed under the transmission tunnel in an inaccessible place.
"That's not a bodge" he said, clearly defensive, "It's a temporary repair". I’ve effected my temporary repair using K-seal which is what the local car parts shop offered me when I asked for Radweld. It remains to be seen whether it degrades into a bodge according to other definitions.

K-seal is probably the best regarded of the seals.
I had a professional repair done to the radiator on my Gilbern due to a pinhole leak on the header tank.
It didn't last very long and continued to leak. But not enough to bother.

I assume the rad is the "old fashioned" copper/brass type. A pinhole in the brass tank/tube can easily be repaired by anyone who has soldering kit. A DIY job even with a soldering iron for a pinhole. Just make sure the metal is thoroughly clean and use solder that has built in flux. In the rad factory I worked in we had a test/repair section just before the paint booth where such repairs (and bigger ones) were done. They used a blowtorch/painted on flux/solder. The worst repairs to do were to the seamed tubes in the core block due to lack of access and more leaks popping up due to excess heat.
