I would be up for a set of these. I called in at Garage 56 on Friday and had a long chat with Terence. We discussed how to get the carbon fibre one to fit my Euro 4 car as well as Euro 3, as the rear bracket is at a slightly different angle.
He also took me for a blast in his three wheeler with stage 1 and 2 kits. We hit 100 mph up the Silverstone access road in what seemed well under 10 seconds. Fabulous.
They are working on a stage 1 exhaust for the Euro 4 cars which I would like to fit (after the factory have perfected my slightly erratic fuel map).
He also supplied me with some nylon retaining washers for the dzus fasteners as I already have their spring fittings.
After 1500 miles to the Nurburgring and back to Scotland in two weeks I am starting to get the hang of the thing. Better breathing and a little more exhaust noise is all that is needed to complete it at this stage.
Cheers. Geoff

My car being a 2012 needs the rear stay of the mudguard to suit the lower steering arm just to complicate matters...

Glad to hear you made it home OK and hopefully the fuel map will be sorted soon.

It's surprising that G56 done provide the nylon clips with the Dzus spring kit but 7mm E-clips work well instead.

cheers

Anyone heard anything on the G56 mudguards? Mine are in need of painting so would rather just pick up a new set.

2Sharp, Ric Hardy has a set on his car. Suggest you PM him, or get in touch with Chris Horton at G56

Both very nice chaps!

Are these standard mudguards cut out or something new?

Lance I think there is another thread somewhere that explains them a bit more but they are the factory ones cut down. To me they are quite snazzy.

Yes, standard ones cut down.
I managed to get hold of a spare set on eBay quite cheaply, so I had the confidence to have a go.
As a design, I just removed the non-load-bearing panels in the originals, which I thought gave it a more sporty look as well as reducing unsprung weight.

And so much easier to bleed the brakes when it's time....
