After ten years I love my Roadster more than ever.

I may be moving out of the Morgan soon

If you don't mind me saying so, I would have thought you would be even more uncomfortable perched on the moped !
However, I'm sure it would be a reluctant decision, and hope you get the best result

Being short does sometimes have advantages.
And size 6 feet.

The moped is only a Sunday morning 1.5 mile to papershop run
a 100miles in the Mog kills my back .
looks like time for a change hide
I'd wanted a Mog since I was 10yrs of age.
Shame but it's looking like 5yrs ownership will be my limit

After a lifetime of allegorization, ambition, anticipation I have come to one important conclusion
It wasn't that I was trying to choose the right Morgan...it was the case that the right Morgan was waiting to choose me as its next custodian

In terms of character, going from Morgan to Boxter is sublime to the ridiculous. Sure the Boxter is a very competent car indeed, but it is really bland and I predict boredom after a while.

The F type is IMO quite a bit better but both it and the Boxter are the product of mass manufacturers and very much the style of two seater saloon cars. If the back is a problem then maybe an M3 would be better for getting in and out. Or go left field and get an Aston or a Maserati??

Be reasonable, Howard, Not everyone has limitless funds to spend on toys. Steve has already said he's looking in the £10 - £15k bracket.

Personally I'd be looking at an MX5 if it were me. Boxsters strike me as being a bit pricey to fix if they break.

The issue I have with the Boxster and F Type, (and others) is their bloated size.
The MX5 I suspect would be a much more enjoyable long term proposition.

But Ed China has shown that you can completely transform an old Boxster with parts that are already lying around in your garage. And it only takes half an hour, and the car is then worth more than you spent on it. It really is that easy.
