Tarka's power steering pump reservoir is a bit low.
The hand book says that MMC use 33g automatic transmission fluid.
The full specification is Ford M2C-33g.
This Ford ATF fluid is red.
My fluid is a dirty green colour, BMW ATF fluid is green.
Would other Aero Owners know if their fluid is red or green, and if it is green it suggests that contrary to the handbook, MMC has used the same ATF Fluid for the transmission and power steering.
Advice much appreciated!!

I very much doubt that there would be any real difference in performance Peter. But there is a risk that one is natural and the other is synthetic, like with brake fluid, so probably best to use the BMW stuff.

I'd be more worried about why it's losing fluid than the colour of it. I am also concerned, not just by the loss but also because the fluid is dirty, not clear green. I fear expensive repairs may be on the horizon. I'll top it up and check regularly. If it continues to lose fluid I'll ask Williams to investigate at the annual service in October.

What is the service schedule frequency, do yo have any service sheets indicating that it was done?

On normal tintops power steering fluid is not changed at service intervals (no provision to drain it) it's just down as a 'top up as required'
So if the level is dropping the system needs checking for leaks, it's sometimes just a tiny weep on a pipe joint
