There are two major factors in the fatal RTC,s I attend, mobile phones and fail to wear seat belts. I have yet to attend one where somebody survived because they were not wearing a seatbelt.

Clamps look great but where did the seat-belts go? I carefully put them behind the seatback - never really used them and prefer the clean look. 😎 Ah another organ donor  A 'more mature' MTWC friend of mine tells the story of when a sudden rear tyre deflation caused his 3 wheeler to roll. Seatbelts hadn't been invented back then and he was thrown out of the car. He lived to tell the tale but is convinced that he wouldn't have been so lucky if he'd been belted in. Having said that, I always wear my seatbelt and just try not to think too much about the consequences of landing upside-down! That used to happen to Messerschmitt KR200’swith sudden tyre deflation too. I would think sticking the weight of a spare wheel on top that far back, would induce a lot of tail happy behaviour on a three wheeler too, especially in the wet. Fitted luggage inside the tail would be far superior.

I am not too bothered whether it is a Morgan Luggage rack, are there any three wheeler luggage racks out there at all? The boot bag option doesn't do it for me, all that retro beauty then a slug belted over the back!
Any recommendations?

Was up at Melvyn Rutter’s last week and saw his wooden formers over the beetle back with aluminium slats. Sorry - didn’t take a picture but it’s in his catalogue. I guess the downside is that although looking retro you’re putting weight - albeit distributed - on the boot lid rather than the hoops..

I guess the downside is that although looking retro you’re putting weight - albeit distributed - on the boot lid rather than the hoops.. Putting the weight on the hoops and the strongest part of the dome on the boot lid can take a lot of weight.
What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

Looks OK maybe with the wood stained... the Morgan Park one is nice too...

That wooden rack looks very "cheap", although I doubt it is. Do you really need a rack at all? There is quite a bit of storage space in the passenger footwell and the boot area if you pack with some thought. The best thing is to travel light with clothes that wash and dry quickly. My wife and I went to Norway from the UK and back over 12 days with all our gear, no rack and no problems.
