I found Gott and Wynne to be far more competitive than Headley, saving me £140 on my annual premium (like for like)!

I've just received a curious email from Mark Wilson, the MD of Heritage. It starts off:
"Hi Ian,
It was about a year ago since parting ways and looking back we appreciate that may have been because our service levels were well below par. We know this because over the last year, we have asked a lot of customers, both current and former, what we were getting wrong and with their help we have set about putting things right."
It goes on to detail the improvements they have made in the last year and inviting me to try them again for a quote.
Refreshingly frank I thought, but a little confusing because I hadn't "parted ways" - Heritage is my current insurer. This email came a day after my renewal quote.
Has anyone else had this? I've been with them a couple of years and can't say I've had a problem, but ironically this email has made me think again about renewing.

Headley charge me £290 for my 4/4 with agreed value, salvage retention, Morgan Rescue and unlimited mileage. Seems fine to me.

I have the same terms except for the rescue, my renewal for next year with Heritage is £301 for both the Morgan and my tin-top (a 2013 Mazda 2) on a multi-car policy. Unlimited mileage for myself and Mrs. W. When I last insured the 4/4 on its own (2016) it was £54 with a 3000 mile limit. ~iw

I renewed with Heritage this year and it came down to about £170 after I agreed to take out a multicar policy covering my Crv and my wires Skoda Fabia. Now I am concerned that when the renewel dates for these vehicles come round Heritage may not be competitive. My wife gets her insurance very low compared with mine.
