The switch does not latch in and the fog light does not go on. Does anyone know if these can be repaired and if not where can I get a new switch. Melvyn Rutter cannot help.
Thanks

Just unbolt the foig lights and tape off the wires. Remove the switch and then get an MoT . Next you need a decent MoT station who looks after safety but doesnt do stupid things like this one did.

It’s an integrated rear fog light so I can’t take it off. The switch is round, illuminated and the car is a 1600cc 2014 4/4. To turn on foglight you press it and press again to turn it off.

Your 'Latching relay' is faulty, should be located in the engine compartment fuse box

It works when the headlamps are on - on later cars.

The switch should stay in when pressed like the others even when no power is supplied so I don’t know where a latching relay comes into it. When the headlights are on the fog light does not work..
