As it had to be put away in the garage wet following yesterday's drive it was the perfect afternoon to take it our for a blast to get everything dry. Lovely. Might have to wash it now though!

Blast up the Yorkshire coast in the P4SS...aeroscreens and trying out my heated waistcoat 9(hanks PeterJ)
Bright sunshine 7 degrees C...TOASTY !!!!
On full heat I reckon waistcoat could fry a couple of eggs !!! - bacon rashers in the other pocket, sausages on the manifold (ooer Missus) and you've nearly got a Georgie Best (Bacon,Egg,Sausage and Tomato for the uninitiated!). Happy driving/frying Kev. James

Last week some nice trips round the town Dresden and in the hills in the "Erzgebirge" in East Germany. Incluiding some rounds on the former race track "Gross Deutschlandring" with fantastic Hairpins. Sometimes quicker than some Motor bikes... Today only some meter from my trailer......
2005 4/4 1800ccm Duratec and a lot of HONDA CX500.......

Just 7 miles today - but great fun - the DonMog car trial. And I came second after a tie break. A grand afternooon out and the weather was very kind to us.

We had really bad wet and cold weather today. But that doesn't bother me. I drove 40 km towards Düren over the wide fields. I missed her so long and it was a lot of fun, it's cozy when the rain pours down on the roof and it was a slow cautious nice ride with some radio entertainment.

That sounds like an interesting trip bm - you've got me googling now.. Yes I had to google myself to read about the interesting story about the race trac. I think there are not many public roads on former race tracs. Most the other way round I think. I live in the flat northern Germany so curvey roads in the hills and the good oldfashion restaurants in Eastern Germany are a nice area to make holydays for us. I often use a special "Motorbike APP" which uses mostly curvy roads and not the direct way.

That is interesting what you say about the old fashioned restaurants and interesting roads in the old east as when we worked in Zeven for 2 years we were keen to have a look over the other side as it was then. The English company I worked for at the time told us we must not cross the border under any circumstances which I always somehow regretted mind you it was 1976-8 so different times. It's really nice that you can all travel freely and enjoy the whole of the country once more in better times. A very good idea to use the motorbike apps for the curvy roads I wouldn't have thought of that.

Nero’s last drive....with me anyway....is scheduled for 4th October. A long boring one way trip down the motorway to Williams where it will go on sale. The end of an era for me. It’s been a great time with both the 4/4 Sport and the Roadster. I’ve modified both quite heavily, had some great drives up Shelsley and Prescott quite a few times, Le Mans Classic twice including spirited drives around the circuit and definitely the highlight, the trip to Caramulo with the Wild Mogs. I’ve met some great people over the years, sadly lost touch with a couple, but a few friends for life too.....it’s not just Morgans that bind us. But.....the Morgan magic has sadly faded for me. That incomparable view down the bonnet is just not enough. I have thought long and hard just why the interest has gone and I think it’s down to me having worked at the factory....the magic, the mystique has gone by seeing so many being built. They have become commonplace for me. I yearn another real classic.
