Well.....Wen fancies an Austin 7 Ulster bodied bolide. I’m looking at a range of cars from TR3, 4, up to a Healey 100/4/6 and may be beyond that. Nice C Type replica might tickle my fancy. That’s the fun of the whole thing....the looking and researching.

Just a thought. I'll be interested to see what you end up with.

We have an acquaintance with an alloy body Austin 7 Ulster.

Used regularly, never restored it is well patinated, or somewhat scruffy..depends on your perspective. Mechanically perfect, no oil leaks and amazingly quick, given its lack of power. The owner, who is a big chap, reckons that 2 up the weight almost doubles.....!!

Many of the Ulsters out there are modern replicas on a saloon chassis. Even they get up to £20k.

Might have seen it at the Sidmouth Classic Car Show a couple of weeks ago? Tiny little car but sweet!

Austin 7 Nippy a consideration maybe given the inflated prices of Ulster's many of which are replica's

Nod’s as good as a wink to blind bat

A good plan.

Another idea is to park for free at Berkswell railway station (no traffic queues) and get a day return train ticket for the short distance to the NEC for about £2.40.
