It’s an o ring on the crank position sensor. It’s not an S&S part but a Morgan one. Dealer has submitted a warrant claim.

I don't think the "angle grinder" cut in the crank case is a problem Ken. I have had a look at my engine and it has the same machining mark. It's a polished engine rather than a black one so maybe doesn't show up as well, I never noticed it until you mentioned it. I have no leaks from that area though.
I’m curious. I sent the pictures in an email to S&S and copied Morgan, asking for an explanation. I agree it’s not a “problem” but I’m curious. I’ll let ya’ll know what they say.
