G'day Morganeers,
today I found out that all new car registrations in the state of Victoria in sunny and very wet Australia now have to have Electronic Stability Control (ESC)from the first of January 2011.
No doubt all the other states will follow like lambs to the slaughter. ESC controls the sideways movement of a vehicle and when combined with ABS and traction control gives the driver a better degree of control to avoid loosing it totally.
I post this little gem of information up because yet again, bureaucracy is making decisions for us poor drivers. The majority of manufactures over here now include that as standard, (I did a check up)

this is the $100 question.... does Morgan in their eternal wisdom include this with every car now manufactured?
Perhaps they should be informed of this NEW and potentially export numbing development???

I wonder, cos if they dont they probably cant export to Ozz in the near future and that is a devastating blow for old ex-pats like my self , who might in a moment of madness want to update their ageing chariots of fire?
