I have a bath towel rolled round some large diameter pipe insulation foam that I use to stop the plastic window from getting marked/creased when the hood is folded.

The other towel is a micro-fibre one, much better at mopping up water...should it be needed.
. Water in a MOG!? Never.

Are you suggesting that you have one of the very rare Morgans that never lets water in?
If so, take it back - it cannot have been correctly built.

We should all know where our towel is. Especially on Towel Day (25th May).

Ahhh, so the towels are for water!

I will have to admit that I am actually an expert at water 'ingress' into vehicles... having owned a Landrover Defender for some years now! Towels are actually not enough... you either slip into your swimming togs, or don a wetsuit! umbrella

My Plus 4 has the vinyl hood so it should be easy to clean as well, especially with the wet towels!

Friday is now the day... will get some photos up later!

Thanks for the great replies, all VERY useful. cheers

This is a great forum.

Pete.

If you don't already have one, get yourself an appropriate hat. Excellent for keeping the water from dripping down your forehead.

Is it there yet?

There is one modification not yet mentioned ever, maybe it’s only me, but the little tab for locking the doors from the inside (pointless anyway), needs to go.

Any long journey I go, I realise my elbow is getting bashed by the stupid thing, you’ll recognise the bit, it’s also fitted to your defenders!

When you get your P4SS..

Step number 1...disassemble the roof and side screen system and store carefully for the next owner and never use again !!!

How else will you hear the full roar of those throttle bodies ?!!

Looking forward to seeing pictures.

Having owned a Canvas Series 3 and then commuted for 10 years in a 1962 Series 2A, I can assure you the Land Rover is positively arid when compared to a Morgan......
