I've got a 2014 Plus 4. I wanted to just confirm the jacking point at the back (front sorted). To be honest the photos in the handbook are not very useful. I've searched posts on here but non look exactly like my car. I've marked what i think is the rear cross member in the photo. Note I've not posted many photos in here so I'm hoping it can be seen by you people. https://www.dropbox.com/s/z2blw4e0awfujrn/Morgan%20Rear%20marked.jpg?dl=0So, couple of questions. 1. Can you see the photo? - that would be a good start! 2. Is that the cross member marked in red. I plan to get a piece of timber - reasonable length and width to spread the load. Any comments and/or advice appreciated.

Yes I can see it. Yes that's the crossmember. Fit the timber to the left of those three protruding bolts, I use them as locaters!

DaveW. Thanks for the quick reply. I was thinking of a timber just the width of the exposed cross member (red marked area) and not putting any pressure on the area where the rear valance goes under the back which has the 3 screws.
How far back behind edge of the valance does the cross member actually go?
Thanks again.
P.S. are you the author of the buying and maintaining modern Morgans? If so got it and excellent book.

The plastic overlays the crossmember so if you keep the beam touching those three small bolts it will be fine. My beam has a rubber strip to prevent slippage.

Note. Before proceeding, lay down either Axminster or Wilton carpet for a more pleasureable experience!
