Yes a fabulous car - for me the shortened windscreen is the final touch of detail it takes the whole roof line down.

Yes a fabulous car - for me the shortened windscreen is the final touch of detail it takes the whole roof line down. Agreed... it changes the visual balance for the better, making the long bonnet even more dominant. And the colour... gorgeous.

A good morning with Tarka. First, to the stables to let Merlin out into his field. I thought this photo shows where I go most mornings, rather well  With Merlin grazing I took a photo of Tarka in the sun...  From the stables I drove over to Old Sarum Airfield for a team meeting, parked the car next to our glorious Hawker Hunter, XF 375, restored into the markings as used at the Empire Test Pilots School at Boscombe Down.  The final leg was to the Green Dragon pub in Alderbury to meet up with Ian, a fellow Morgan owner for a pre-lunch pint.  All in all a rather enjoyable Sunday morning!

I think the Aeromax wheels help the look... they hint at the traditional spoked wheels.
Also I feel the +8 is quite colour sensitive: Brian's Rocket Blue highlights the almost Art Deco look of the car, as does the Rolls Royce Bronze on Tarka. I don't think lighter colours work quite so well.
We are both very fortunate to own such wonderful examples of the work of MMC.
It is hard to believe that Tarka will be 5 years old in a few weeks.
