I have also some rattling noise from my right pipe. Can’t trace it where it comes from. I suspect something inside. In that case I probably need to live with that.

Do you all, with G56 pipes, have a rattle? How strange. John.

So I make that 5 to date with the same presentation. What I would be interested to know is : Is there anyone with G56 pipes without a rattle ? Also if anyone did have a rattle , and it has now gone/reduced having put some miles on ? Thanks

I have the 56 stage 1 and have always thought they sounded great. Over 5K now and luckily I have never noticed a rattle but will now listen hard. Although if they sounded like the video I would have noticed by now. Whenever I have taken the car back to the factory it's the mountings that always get a comment and criticism. I don't think they like the extra weight, that the car is not designed to take, at those points.

It’s looks inside and started after many thousands miles. But it’s hard to check yourself when driving a left hand car. And ......the noise it’s not always there ! But thats typical Morgan 😜

I think the rattle that is in the video is not the exhaust but the Centa compensator as the car is pulling away at very low revs and it tends to do that. I also have the minor popping "rattle" at idle on my RH G56 exhaust, it seems to be common to them all. It's been the same for over 12,000 miles and I don't really notice it now. The first early G56 system I had definitely had something loose in there as there was a rattle if you slapped the box, the replacements don't. G56's explanation could be correct but I don't know why just the RH side.
I had one heat shield screw that had bottomed out and appeared to be tight when it wasn't. Filed a bit off the thread and Loctited them all in.
