Heinz, could you give us the part number of the pedal that you bought? Because my Moggi seams to had the same failure a few weeks ago.
Not as bad as yours and it happens only once. But now I know the reason for it and know that it could happens anytime again.
So I could start the preparations for a new pedal before it getting more worse. innocent

Oliver, the relevant parts number is the upper line starting with 4M51...

The final letters are important as this letters like BK define if it is a LHD or a RHD pedal. Therefore it should be exactly this number or you perhaps have another sort of proof that you get a RHD pedal even if your car is LHD.

That you have to saw the pedal I have described in the opening post. I would nevertheless recommend to compare this given number with the part number of the pedal which is built into your car, sometimes MMC could have changed parts without making a note. But I guess it should be the right one also regarding your car.
