My stalk broke up being held on by only the wire from the button. Cheesy piece of ....
I see the part number and was wondering if there are better replacements that would fit. Anybody?

mine broke last year! they are crap!!! changed under warranty... the new one worked much smoother and lighter feel to it... i was told they cost £100. they like a computer game joy stick, made of 4 micro switches, giving a momentary signal to the control unit..

Same here - it just fell off without being touched (sheared internally). It is being replaced under warranty thanks to the good offices of Melvyn Rutter.

Sounds like a momentary toggle switch With a left right and center off on the dash would be better. I believe my A.H. Sprite had a similar switch but was not momentary.

Hey skullmog, do you remember the push button foot switches to dip the headlamps? There is always a way unless the darned ecu gets involved.

I think you will find the Turn Signal Module, another little black box, will get involved. That's probably equally as bad as the ECU being involved .

Yet another nanny to take away the drivers responsibility. Just wait, some wingnut will advocate for airbags in the 3 Wheeler. Where is that little black box located for the turn signal indicator?

![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2019/08/18/Air-Bag.md.jpg) I saw this a few years ago On the MTWC stand at TOTH. The module is just below and forward of the ECU, under the fuse box.
