Yip, fitted a couple of brake reaction bars today and had a spirited drive around some familiar roads, they really do make a difference!
Reduced tendancy to follow ruts and the white lines on the road, a lot less bump steer when cornering hard on B roads.
Highly recommended 😂

Nice drives both Saturday and Sunday with beautiful weather. Drove along and through the dune landscape and ventured into the polders in the area above Haarlem and Amsterdam. Roadster is running great!

Belated thanks to Cooperman, David & Gordon for your responses to my question. Very helpful.

Cheers

Just a few miles today to the shops in Lampeter, returning via a slightly longer route. Weather very changeable - warm sunshine and some short but heavy showers.

Took the loan Roadster back to KH today. Alas my car failed the MOT on a split bush on the panhard rod & KH won't get the bit till next week.

Another 60 miles or so today - about 21 to Carmarthen, and a slightly longer route back. Some nice smiles from people in town, and some very heavy rain showers!

Yes, 50 miles or so round trip including a quick beer at the Anchor in Wisley. Our car has been returned to us after spending a week away having a new hood fitted, leather binnacle, chrome door latches, battery conditioner leads and a new hood latch cable. Bell and Colvill did or arranged the work as another firm made and fitted the mohair hood. The car looks even more fabulous now and I willl post up some pictures in a couple of weeks. We had our first run out with the hood up advised by B&C that we should leave it in place for two weeks. Our garage is also finally ready with a smart new electric door and so the Plus 4 has its new home, and it looks very much at home. This is where I will grease my first nipples in three weeks time
In the morning I fly to Pisa, I’m off to ride my bike from Cinque Terra to St Maria de Lueca for the next 17 days with Saddle Skeddaddle and so won’t be able to drive the Mog at all. I’ll keep my eyes peeled for interesting cars along the way and try to post some images of what I find.
Best wishes to all
Kevin

120 mile round trip to BBMF today with DonMog.
Including lunch at the Blue Bell Inn, Tattershall Thorpe - a pub with some wonderful memorabilia.
Hood up all the way there in increasingly heavy rain.
Hood down all the way back in brighter and drier conditions.
A grand day out.
