After an hour or so of driving my p4 doors start creaking... it's no big deal but I was wondering if any of you wise ol' Morgan owners have any tips or tricks to help reduce these noises? Thanks G

Are you sure it’s actually the doors creaking and not the wing beading dried out? Try running some 3 in 1 along all beads. Also, check all screws on door trim and also hinge screws which can work loose.

It could also be the bottom of the sidescreen chafing against the body just behind the door opening. This seems to be a Morgan "characteristic" as it has been present on all of the Morgans I have owned

I would also check the bonnet tape to see if that has dried out.

Yes! this was the cause of the horrible squeaking on my Plus 4. Cured by the rubbing in of a little Vaseline (useful for so many things..............).

check the sidescreen mountings - also a similar squeaking when warm turned out to be the heater box and the noise transferring down the scuttle.

I have exactly the same problem albeit only on the passenger side. It also starts after about 30 minutes of driving and once again the car is only 4 months old. Will also try the Vaseline later...

I had exactly the same issue on my new Roadster when I acquired in 2013. It developed a "scritching scratching" sound which sounded like it was coming from the door or the sidescreen mounts. After putting Vaseline on the mountings the problem persisted. It transpired that it was the leaf springs and the leaf spring bushes - they were in need of some lubrication and this cured the problem. Because of the location of the leaf springs it sounded as if the noise was coming from the doors. If the problem continues I would get your dealer to check the leaf springs. Or if you are more adventurous you can lube them yourself with chain oil. See my thread here for further details - http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/135557/squeaky-side-screens#Post135557
