I am sorry to hear this. Certainly Bill was an great example to all of us. I was just thinking of him this morning when talking to Alis about the 2035 deadline for the sale of ICE cars, I was thinking that by then I would be 88 and most likely, unlike Bill, I would not be able to drive.

In a way one should not feel sad for Bill; he had a great innings and other than being shot by a jealous husband at the age of 101 I can't think of a better way to go.

RIP Bill Button. I will offer up a glass in your memory tonight.

Sad news. I have certainly benefitted from his knowledge and experiences. RIP Bill.

Sad news indeed, it was his instructions/experience of fitting a Gemmer box that inspired me to buy the one for mine.

Gosh that’s very sad news indeed

What an inspiration he was. His comments, his enormous experience and accounts of his Morganeering exploits will be very sorely missed by me on here

My thoughts to his family and close friends

Rest in peace Bill

A Morganeering legend

Very sad news. A great innings. I wonder how Tcherek is taking it.

Sad, sad news. I always enjoyed his posts and he was a great advert of the benefits of morgan ownership. Here's to a him driving a Mog on some "heavenly" roads.

As everyone has said he will be missed greatly by the Morgan community. For me he was an inspiration, he helped me develop from a novice into a professional novice fixing my Morgans. We had planned a drive through the Rockies this Spring which I will continue to do in his memory.
