Nah, it’s okay, ‘wasn’t my thread and it was all getting a bit ‘pistoheady’ anyway, the gimmicky dash shot was just a wind up, but nobody rose to it. laugh2

Since we’re drifting further into quirky land, what about one of these, a friend of mine has this.. the Fiat Topolino.

The little mouse. Always a favourite
How about a slightly modded mini on tour in Modena

If that's still a mini then I guess this is still a Topolino

While we're recklessly trashing this thread... The above pic just put a memory in my head I'd not thought of for years.

Living in California for a bit in the late 70s the sun and surf must have got to my head cos I toyed with the idea of dropping a small block into a Volvo pv544... (There was a solid one minus motor in a local wreckers yard)..... I was at said wreckers one day after a bit for my Econoline van and as it was a bit dusty and I needed to crawl under a van I spotted a bit of plywood... When I picked it up and turned it over it had my name painted on the underside.... Somewhat spooked me as it's not a common name and it was a big lonely wreckers 5000 miles from home .... Hotrod never got built. smile

ok, I stop hiding behind the tree.
Have been an anonymous Multipla lover as well.
Forst series modern one - great car!

I never dared to get one and we ended up with Berlingo, Caddy and Microbus tin tops...

The worse thing about that Shelby 500 GT? It’s not available outside the US😭.

Hell of a car for $72,000 (£55,000).

I can take the flack, Lowebird.

Actually, I just read the write up in this month’s Evo and despaired when I read at the end that it’s not going to be on sale in the UK. Before I read that I was assessing both my finances and my wife’s possible reactions (all negative) so I could buy one.
