I got a nice steel trim for the hole at the top of the seat where the head rest fits.
The steel seems quite strong.
Can you tell me how to fit that thing? Is there a special tool in a trim shop?

Miklos, do you mean the original is missing ?
If yes, then I'm afraid almost impossible to fit 'in situ' it's fitted to the leather whilst the cover is being made & the inner tangs are then tapped over & grip into the inner face whilst still on the trimmers bench

So it feels..... Yes, I thought about fitting it in situ and just wondered as it is kind of stiff.
Maybe I try ro pre prepare it on a bench and then fiddle it into position in situ.
Give it a try - worst case it will stay on my desk;-)
