I got my Plus 4 started after a 27 year lay up!! First turn of key after spinning it over with plugs out and oil down bores to build up the oil pressure
Delighted!
Mind you, my neighbours weren't when a pall of blue smoke settled around the neighbourhood

Repaired with tin cut from the side of an old computer case, fixed with self tapping screws, cut the points off and covered with silicone to prevent from working loose. Can't weld won't weld (don't own one)

After our daughter dropped this in for a repair some weeks ago I finally decided to start It's a dehumidifier BTW Cleaned out all the resident spiders & a bit of simple 'is there power' testing, still no joy ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/04/08/Dehumidifier-2.jpg) So decided to move to a bit of brain surgery, it's ridiculously complex with magnetic trip switches, % humidity, fan speeds, bla bla ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/04/08/Dehumidifier-1.jpg) Anyway after wasting over an hour, the patient failed to recover & I gave in - defeated and an epic fail on my part, there's not much that I won't have a go at, but sadly beaten by this one
