Fitted a new headlight bulb to my wifes runabout which has just had its MOT extended

Now that is good.

I wonder what indicator bulb you should try ?

A successful bodge repair of an essential PPE dispenser.....
The toilet roll holder in our downstairs toilet.
The arm holding the roll broke away from the wall plate.
Investigation revealed a failed, c**p quality spot weld at the back of the wall plate, where a tab on the arm went through the wall plate.
What to do?
Can't visit my pal who has a welding machine.

So, clean up the slot and tab, cut into the tab in 2 places and bend the two outer wings away, slightly.
Apply epoxy resin to both parts and hammer the slot over the tongue: it was a really tight fit.



Time will tell if it is a bodge or a real repair!

Some gaps in your drill box Peter...time to replenish I think...I must do the same .

Nice use of an engineers vice mounted in a woodwork vice.
