Spent some time in Key West after a single handed crossing of the Gulf from Isla Mujeres. A great place to hang out. All the musicians who never quite made it play in the bars of this wild town. Sloppy Joes and the Hog's Breath Saloon were favourites, still have the T shirts

To those of you of a PC/Technical nature there is a folding@home COVID-19 thread running. You can download a bit of software that acts like a screen saver so that when you are not using your machine it will collect chunks of work on CV19 and then process and return them. No connection or promise of data faithfulness but I thought a few might like to try it if they have spare folding (bitcoin things) engines lying around. https://foldingathome.org/covid19/

Today's bulletin. Once more less than 200 deaths and all other figures in gradual decline. Once again the number of new case is slightly Les than the numbered cured. What a lot of people don't realise is that those who had very sever symptoms now have to go through rehabilitation and continuing therapy to resolve lung damage. I would imagine that many will never completely recover.
Today is the first day of "Phase 2" of the lockdown.
Italy - Covid-19 - Data 4 May, 6 p.m.
There are 211,938 total cases since the beginning of the pandemic:
99,980 people currently positive
29,079 deceased
82,879 healed
Variations from the previous bulletin:
+1,221 new positive cases
+ 195 deceased
+ 1,225 healed
Among the 99,980 currently positive (-199):
81,678 are in home seclusion (+242)
16,823 hospitalized with symptoms (-419)
1,479 in intensive care (-22)
There were 2,191,403 (+37,631) swabs carried out.
