Hi Peter, I had my mesh grill powder coated in satin black which looks really good against the chrome grill.

Thats the somewhat incongruous rear view mount,for the mirror that randomly flies off and needs adjusting by guesswork. My neighbor Colin is not deserving of such punishment- he already has a MicroCar with a sewing machine engine! Actually the battery went flat some time last month, but it was OK as I had some spare AA batteries to give it a jump start.

The bodge goes on.
I put the mesh in the dishwasher...big improvement.
So I have put the main grill in the dishwasher.

2011 Plus 4 (Marty) That is a really good idea. I only fitted a mesh grill at the same time as a Mulfab radiator. I prefer the car without a mesh grill, but needed to protect Peter’s marvellous creation.

The Plus 8 has 4, yes 4 radiators.

Oil Cooler
Power Steering fluid coolant.
To protect that lot a mesh grid is essential!

I had to do something about the tonneau flap. Bodged this with a piece of teak I've had hanging around for the last 10 years, and Dots original pvc tonneau. I surprised myself and found it fit for purpose !
