Excellent information👍

Can someone direct me to the thread showing how to remove the cats. Remember reading about it but was a while ago. Also how to remove the first two baffles in the stock pipes.

Thanks.

06032, could you post a video demonstrating the sound of your exhaust? Would appreciate it a lot. Not entirely satisfied with the sound from my Aero Racing Stage One pipes. You describe the exhaust sound I’ve always wanted.

Those were the ones I previously read.

Very helpful.

Thanks.

Sportser - send me a pm with your phone number. This will be easier and faster if I call you with it running.

I have had the Factory/Aero racing Stage One kit fitted. In my opinion much neater than other makes available. Only problem is cracking as mentioned in Truckin-ons post. So far had 2 replaced under warranty! If they go again will do a mod similar to what he had done but really shouldn't have to.

Sorry Lightspeed, I missed your post. Stage 2 cams with remapped ECU were installed together so haven’t tried with original ECU.

Bluesman at some point I might try adding an octane booster to see if pinging decreases. I tried in the past but can’t remember if was done before Stage 1. At that point it didn’t seem to do anything.

The standard (locked) ECU adaptive maps cannot manage the Stage 2 (569) cams, it exceeds the maps limits. The information I had from the very knowledgeable dyno operator, at Krazy Horse in the UK, was that you need an unlocked and set up ECU mapping for anything more than standard cams, a free flowing exhaust and filter (Stage1)
