Agree with all of the above comments. What a feel good story and such a nice note from Ms Stocker.
Very nicely done all around.

It is great to read of the pleasure that Morgans can bring to others, and the opportunity to spread a little joy or happiness warms the heart does it not.

After many years of driving air cooled Porsches where the reaction of others, if any, tended to be at quite the opposite end of the scale from my Morgan experiences. I only ever had one negative experience in my Morgan while driving through a tunnel in Italy, slowly overtaking a large heavily loaded and lengthy artic (semi) I could see the driver in his large mirrors, he changed up a gear and waited till we were level with his exhaust then floored the pedal, creating a black diesel filled cloud.... Well you can`t please everybody with the presence of a Morgan..!

Pride of ownership, may well be something that eludes folk who can easily have what they want and when they want it...? Whereas it took me five years of savings to buy my Morgan, thus there were sacrifices made in order to reach an objective, and with that comes a sense of achievement...

Restoring maintaining and repairing vehicles can induce a sense of satisfaction, that sense of self satisfaction can be extended to some degree when a Morgan can induce a smile on the face of a stranger or elicit an appreciative comment, on that which you have put some of yourself into, and the more often that might happen perhaps it seems reasonable that one`s sense of self worth or pride has potential to increase, or at least be refreshed from time to time..?

Of course there are those who may not know one end of a hammer from the other, but have put a great deal of effort into earning enough to buy a particular machine, folk who may polish it to perfection in order to have it look better than new, I suspect they too may feel a sense of pride in their achievement to own and care for a Morgan or any other machine..? I suspect there will be many others who enjoy their Morgans and other things in life into which they have put rather a lot of effort and as such can take pride in that which they have personally achieved.

I guess I would tend to feel sorry for those who need put little or no effort into anything they might wish to own, for they would seem to be loosing out on the opportunity to take pride in almost anything to some degree...?

Just thinking in type..
