The lubrication route is a Catch 22. The more lubricated, well on my car, encourages more blessed rattles!
Likewise with the Librands door checks. Lubricate those and they won't stay open! The word lubricate is an overstatement! The car wax just reduces friction to a level where you don’t need to pull hard to remove the headrests. They are still a snug fit. As for door checks, I have tightened mine as they had got too loose. A gentle squeeze to subtly reduce the gap is all that’s needed.

Do you have a four seater? Mine is a two seater and each seat has a lever beside it toward the outside of the car. When the lever is lifted the seat back tips forward toward the wind screen. I believe my seats are standard and not anything special.

John I thought the forward tilting seats were only on the four seater. Mine has them.

All my morgans have had tilting seats but I think it is an optional extra on 2 seaters. Standard on 4 seaters of course for access....mind you, mine didn't tilt enough to let anyone in the back if the hood was up  Nick

Being from this side of the pond and in an area of the country where Morgans are sparse, the only 4 seater I ever saw in person was a flat rad former rally car that my friend Dave Burrows brought back from England and restored. Last year or the year before he sold it back to the original owner's grandson and the car returned to England. I didn't realize folding seat backs were standard on the 4 seater, but when I think about it, it makes perfect sense. I learn something new every day!

Beware!! I once left the headrest on the passenger seat and folded the seat forwards to put the tonneau cover on. The headrest was in contact with the dashboard. After only a few miles the beautiful walnut dashboard was perminantly marked.
Eventually I had the dashboard relaqured and always take the headrest off now, an expensive lesson.
