I am aware of several 3.7L Roadsters suffering terminal engine damage during enthusiastic track day driving as a result of oil starvation. Apparently on long track corners or a quick left to right or visa versa the sump oil gets forced up one side of the sump housing and leaves the strainer mid-air. The result of which you can guess.
Has anyone had a sump modified ( baffled ) or gated thus reducing the oil slop and mitigating the starvation, if so who carried out the work.
As you may guess I am one such owner who enjoys one or two-track days each year (COVID allowing) and has now purchased a set of wheels shod with soft compound rubber thus potentially bring the disaster closer.
When i last spoke to the factory about this there solution was 'just stick an extra liter of oil in the engine'. not sure I am happy with this as I am told this act can cause hydraulicing and subsequent damage of a different kind.
Any advice/experiance welcome.
I think this is probably directed at Simon (SIFAB) because if I need a modified sump he is probably my man.

HI Simon.
I think quite alot of 3.7l owners would be interested in this. When do you think you can develop a solution.
Id be happy to run my car over so you have something to work on if that helps.
