No, I part ex'd the car last month. But I do have one black & silver plate left over from my old 3W. If that could be of any use?

I've noticed you're not alone in carrying a spare set of legal plates from others comments, but surely if you were stopped and challenged and you pull out the legal plate, "sorry officer I've got these" it just shows you know you're normally running with illegal plates ??

I had a plan to say I had forgot to swap them back after a car show. As there haven't been any this year Im not sure what I would say :-) I would have to think fast !

If you are stopped by the Police, you simply need to point out that the Morgan pre-dates the relevant legislation, which cannot be applied retrospectively.

When I see other number plates on some other cars I think my black and silver on an 'old looking' car aint so bad.

In surrey here there are a plethora of expensive cars wizzing about. Blacked out windows, grey shaded number plates, some with no number plates on the front etc. We've all seen em.
Oh, and the bikes !! how many of us have seen a pocket rocket whizz by with a plate the size of a postage stamp The bikers ( I used to be one ) really take the micky

Down the road here on the way to Redhill is a big nick with the Po coming and going all the time. More than a few times Ive had plod right behind me but not been stopped as of yet.
