Most of us know what the NVH is and what it is supposed to do, but how many of us know how effective it is?
What good does it do?
What negatives does it have?
Would you eliminate it and why?
I know Mr. Bleazey makes a kit to replace the NVH and it sounds like a good thing but how many of us have done the Kit? Regrets?

I was amazed at the ironwork that makes up the NVH. Incredible classic Victorian engineering - great if you are into Steampunk!
Not enough miles on my Bleazey BB mount to comment too much but no banging on sharp take offs any more...

NVH kit seems pointless to me, my 2013 came without it. My dealer ordered the kit but on seeing it declined to fit it for the hours MMC said. When my chassis cracked in 2017 & was replaced the new one came with NVH by default. It seems to do nothing apart from changing the speed for peak BB whine. Its extra ballast for no benefit.

The NVH kit is supposed to reduce the Noise Vibration and Harshness, something that it is not very effective at doing at all. I think the main idea was to isolate the Bevel Gearbox in an effort to reduce the noise from that, it failed. I had the NVH kit fitted to my 2013 car at the same time as the Centa upgrade and noticed that this combination introduced some new vibrations and noises soon into my first drive after the upgrades. The main annoying new vibration was a "thrum" through the body, this was maybe more noticeable as some of the original vibrations and clunks from the Harley compensator had gone. It felt a bit like a worn UJ in the propshaft but wasn't.
The NVH kit was fitted again when my car had a chassis change to a post 2014 chassis in 2015. It all felt better (smoother) in that chassis but still had the "thrum". I fitted Phil Bleazeys BB mounting kit almost 8,000 miles ago and it improved things by eliminating most of the "thrum", smoothing things a bit more and stopping the big clunks when accelerating hard from a standing start. The car also reduced its weight by several pounds with the removal of the NVH steel girder. I cannot think there are any negatives with Phils BB mount, no regrets fitting it. I have driven some M3W's with the NVH kit fitted that don't seem to suffer the same problems as my car did and drive very well, really not sure why but some are much smoother than others.
3000 miles ago I got Phil Bleazeys Centa modifications and the car is now pretty much vibration free, apart from the big, lumpy engine on the front. You would have to ask Phil how many BB mount kits he has sold but it is quite a few.

I opted for Phil’s kit. After removing the NVH kit and looking at it, I have to say it makes no sense. It is no kidding it is like fixing an anchor to the bottom side of your Morgan. Worst part is the bevel box takes a lot of torque and power and the nvh is fixed in such a poor way it allows the bevel box to move around under load. Morgan could save a few bucks and go back to the original design they would be doing everyone other than Phil a solid. In the meantime Phil is doing it right for something that is simply done wrong.
By the way if you wanted some wall art you could put the nvh on the wall of your garage as it does look interesting.

This is my reccolection of events a few years ago, which resulted in the Bleazey Box mount - happy to be corrected by Phil , I was just driver/observer and take no credit !
Phil and I were in conversation about the various clunks and bangs our M3W's made during normal and spirited driving. He suggested an investiigation session which I was more than happy to take part in. He arrived at my place with his 3 wheeler fited with a temporary transmission cover where the lid could be removed to watch the works around the bevel box to help determine the source of the bangs etc. To our joint amazement, under acceleration the front end of the box was rising under acceleration , dropping back as the torque reduced. On overrun in a low gear when the box was in a raised attitude , it could be made to drop very hard resulting in the bang we know and hate. Phil went home buzzing with ideas and so the Bleazey box mount was born. The rest is history, apart from having fitted on to mine , and ditching the NVH , I have not heard a bang from the bevel box area since.

I certainly appreciate all the responses.
I know that the more power I put to the rear tire the growl from the belt or BB is pretty load.
Maybe the Bleazey mod would stop that?

Unfortunately Phils BBox mount does not suppress the whine/growl noise from either the Belt or Box. Those unfortunate pieces of engineering mis design are still waiting to be designed out of existence. That said , Phils car which has chain drive not belt drive does not suffer from belt whine ...

I think the BB is pretty solid and if the temperatures in it remain stable then it should last. The belt is a consumable item and as such I expect it to need replacement periodically.. If either make their respective noises then it is just the three wheeler.
So you are saying that growl from the belt is normal? If so I can live with it, and happy to drive the fun little beast😊👍😎
Banging sounds must be the NVH.

The NVH was simply badly engineered and replaced with Phils box mount can be removed at a stroke, removing its noises. The belt and box noises like you say seem to be part of their normal operation, however objectionable they are, and to date I am not aware of a proven way to reduce them.
