There is a 1 hour 44 minute documentary of the Trans India Challenge in a M3W available here: https://vimeo.com/ondemand/theindianqueen/458942993A mixture of the trials and tribulations of the trip and the charities they visited enroute.

Thanks for the link Rog. They were indeed very unlucky to have their Centa rollers fail due to the rough roads and their fuel pump fail due to bad fuel. Good job we never see that sort of thing in Europe.

Didn't he die while enduring? Well, like everyone, yes, Shackleton did eventually die, enduring, like we all will; eventually... Shackleton did however return himself and every one of his crew from their ill-fated Antarctic adventure. If you have not read this saga, Alfred Lansing's book is a complication of many journals and records and is the best version IMO. However, many of the crew did die shortly after their successful return to England in WW I; as infantry adapted to the then modern invention of machine guns... "War, what is it good for? Absolutely nothing!" ~Frankie OK, now back to your regularly scheduled programming of a man, his wife and their Morgan with three wheels in India.

Yes, WWI, a slaughter on an even grander scale than our civil war... whoever thought war was civil?

Just watched it 😎👍 A sort of 'Long Way Down' for M3W's or should that be 'Long Way to Bombay' 😃😄😆 Would liked to have seen more about the vehicle prep and Krazy Horse input but well worth watching. Well done everyone involved. ☺👍
