I need to fit some seat belts to the Morgan Plus8.
It has a roll cage and fixing points are not at all obvious.
I can get anchorage points low down either side of the seat.

Question ..Can i fix and mount the inertia seat belt to the rear wooden wheel arch.It seems very sturdy.Over the shoulder behind each seat?
Also and suggestions where i should but inertia seat belts from?

That is where they usually go, but if you have a roll cage then some people anchor of that.

Yup, both the inertia reel and shoulder height fixing are on the wheel arch of my 85 +8 No roll cage though. Happy to take a few pics if you think that might help.

I had non inertia belts in my old +8 but we're fitted to the side of the roll bar. The were more comfortable than the inertia ones in the later cars.

.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.

Has anyone ever fit shoulder belts (diagonals?) to the rear seats in a classic +4 four-seater? I realize the mounting points would present a real challenge, however, the stadium seating layout would seem to favor passengers being firmly mounted a preferred arrangement.
