The weight gain is 17-1/2 pounds. Soon I get to weigh the Bleazey kit. Kit arrived and weighed a total of 5-1/4 pounds, a savings of 12 pounds.

No more big clunks and the belt changing tension because of BB movement.

Phil’s kit is pretty easy to install as well. Great winter project. Enjoy!

Thanks Ken, but I am going to need something else for winter because this will be done tomorrow. Getting the NVH out looks like the most difficult process and that is now sitting in a corner of the shop.

Getting the floor panels* bent down was IMHO the most difficult process wink
* these are bolted and masticked. The mastic is a pain. Note I managed to redo the bolts after fitting the new BB mount.

But indeed you will then likely need another project from November. Maybe rustproofing the inside of the chassis tubes? smile

The inside of the frame,,, if all that waxy goop that seems to be everywhere did not find its way inside the frame then how could I get in there? I would hope the frame was dipped to seal it but I suspect it was sprayed since the car was built in an antique shed that was probably a converted dairy barn a hundred plus years ago.
I try to not drive through rivers and creeks or rain storms and so far have succeeded. I sold my drysuit so I don’t go kayaking anymore 😊

I have the parts and am planning the BB upgrade this winter. Has anyone on the East Coast done Phil's Centa upgrade. That is a bit more daunting to me.

Not sure where New Hope is but I am in Leesburg, VA also Emil from Morgan Customs who is in PA both installed Phil’s kit. Emil has a nice shop so sure he would install it for you. If there is time this year happy to go for a ride and help out. Having a lift makes it a lot easier.

Emil will be doing a couple of Centa drives within about a month so I would contact him ASAP if a Centa is in your future. He also has done a few of the BB Mounts and has one on his machine. Give him a call and introduce yourself.

ABT makes (or did make) the chassis for the M3W..
