Jon, as an admirer of high spec quality doors I couldn't resist posting these photos for you. A door that arrived in the workshop today for repair ( not my bodge, honest guv).

The kingspan at the top was simply jammed in between the stonework, no framing and no draught excluder on the floor either.

Shocking!

It looks like an internal door lining as well. The door must of been hung the other way round in the past by the looks of those hinge cut outs.

It looks like an internal door lining as well. The door must of been hung the other way round in the past by the looks of those hinge cut outs.


Oh dear, that's been re-purposed from somewhere, perhaps without the prior owners knowledge, at least the hinges are 'Certifire' spec, which is actually for internal fire doors (which that door is deffo not)

Bodged a used milk bottle into a cr*p catcher having decided to take off the rebound spring gaiters and give all the old grease a flush out

I'd forgotten what a greasy mucky job it was frown
