First time topless today. Forecast = overcast and rain. My sunburnt face and neck suggest otherwise! rofl

I'm coming up for three years Mogging at the end of the month, and have only had the roof on once - a wet trip to Ledgerwoods for the MOT in the first year.

Having covered almost 30k miles in the nearly 2 years I have had my 4 seater, I can happily say I use the roof quite a bit. Typically if its dry, and my trip is going to be half an hour or more I will have the roof off, if it looks like rain, or its just a short trip and the roof is already on it will stay on. I like to have the roof off if possible on the drive home from work - Its nice to get some fresh air at the end of the day

On balance I would rather use the morgan with the roof on than leave it at home.

This morning reminds me of another "I will use the hood rule" - that is those chilly autumnal mornings when the hood is both stiff and covered in dew - Roof stays on til the weather has warmed up and dried out.

Better move or I'll be late drive

Please don't say the A word; it doesn't even feel like we've had summer yet! gloomy

Well the early morning certainly had a sniff of Autumn about it the other day here in the North East - everything is still nice and green though due to the huge amout of raine we have enjoyed over the last few weeks!

Reckoned I would see better without it!

The great thing about a Moggie with the roof off is the tonneau cover. Havent got one '/ cant fit one on my Elise but when I had a Spitfire many years ago, the tonneau went on and the soft top was never used after that
