Oh, today I noticed that the glue of the hood has come off at the front frame. Which glue should I use? One photo is in fast motion when the suction lifts the canvas. The other one with my finger when standing still. I'm afraid that without glue the roof canopy might break at higher speed. Is there something special to take into account? I have some leather work booked there next week so will ask Shaun then. I need to re-glue outer edges of hood top rail seal.

Back in the summer the rubber u seal in the header over the windscreen frame started to come away , I used good quality super glue , held down with washing spring pegs for 24 hours.so far it has worked.
.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.

I good solvent based neoprene glue like bostik should work. It needs to be flexible.

Great idea. I had to glue my seal recently, and used some off cuts of wood I had lying around which were a perfect fit. Spring pegs would have allowed a more precise hold.

Although it is not stuck, the hood will not come loose or come off, as it still glued around the front and under the front rail.
