uhhh - I paid 450+VAT at NewElms... (including the brake pads) That's steep! £108 more than the BerryBrook ones. Mine were including stainless brake lines and pads too.

You have to file a bit of the caliper bracket away to make them fit
You should have been told this or it should have been with the fitting instructions Thanks for that Simon - I got mine from Mulfab via BerryBrook, and there was no mention in the Mulfab instructions unfortunately. That's strange, I got mine from Peter and the instructions were clear to file down the bracket. Easy peasy job, I used a Dremel.

Full depth of the bracket, but IIRC it wasn't that much to remove. It was back in around 2006 that I did it, when I fitted my hardchrome kingpins, so I don't have a clear memory or record of exactly what I did.

Last year I fitted the Mulfab calipers on my Plus 8. Kept a standard solid disc but added stainless flexi pipes. Two issues...
Getting the seized on solid old discs off! Plenty of Plusgas and patience!
Fitting the new Hispec callipers. The mounting bolt holes were undersize. I phoned Mulfab and they checked their stock.....all with undersized holes. Rather than send mine back for replacement I drilled them out. No further issues. Pads went in fine. Brakes excellent with this upgrade. Very slightly firmer feel due to the hose upgrade.
I just bought the callipers and hoses as I already had new discs.
