Agreed. I bought the center mount and use it most of the time.

I use the "hand' damper. Does anyone know of a source of convex glass for the standard mirrors. I find field of view is small.

What type of mirrors did you use. I have had a look at their website, are they worth $95 each?

I then mounted a small center mirror between the flyscreens which works very well with no apparent vibration. Pretty much the only mirror I use in practice, as looking over ones shoulder to check the flanks is easy enough to do in the M3W.

+1 . I would add that some have tried large reinforcing plates to try and reduce the body mounting flex and shortening the long mounting tube by about half, to improve matters. Not sure how successful this has been though. The second type of mirror and a central mirror works well for me. The half tonneau mirror visibility is worth considering if you drive like that a lot, as Rog G mentions. I doubt there is a perfect set up.
