However, I predict a Ferrari win, Hamilton second, Verstappen DNF Reg (lowebird) would love to agree with you !! Bob, I was just about to put finger to keyboard. Vettel had a poor qualifying compared with his team mate, I wonder how long Aston will put up with his lack of performance? I'm not a fan of his but it is all looking a bit pathetic at the moment for him, he needs to take stock now and reflect on Alonso's fine performance after a two year break as he seems as hungry as ever for success.

Let's not be too quick to judge Vettel.
He was hampered by the yellow flag incidents in the final session but I do agree he needs to show us all that he is still hungry.
In theory he should be able to compete comfortably with his team mate so let's see where he is after a couple of races.

The last 5 laps were "edge of the seat" stuff.
If that is a taster of the year to come it may well be the best F1 season for many a year.
We have 2 teams, as expected, plus 4 that are not far off the pace: great to see McLaren and Ferrari back where they belong, Aston Martin and AlphaTauri biting at their heels.
I'd love to see Williams but Mr Matzipan showed what he is made of.
