Hi guys been doing a bit of troubleshooting on a 1985 twin cam and while I am getting spark I have no power to the ECU or the double relay, any ideas?

I just join in.
Mine is a non starter as well and I donˋt have a clue.
Hopefully there will be time on Monday to dig deeper.
It was running well till I turned it off for parking.
10 minutes later there was no ignition.
After a long stating torture it came back on two to three cylinders.
That was it...
Let´s see..

I have ordered a new ecu relay to see if that works will let you know.

Solved mine - yippie!!!
After quite a lot of try and error in repeating all the logical pathways.
The trouble was all at the start.
It was a non starter and then again with true force an full open throttle a starter on 2 to 3 cylinders.
Went for fuel lines, filters, spark plugs, ignition, ..... all seemed fine.
At the end it seems to be the air intake.
Better than new excluding the filter from the system.
Ordered a new one and let's see;-)

Back in the game.
At the end it seems that the airflow meter was the guilty part...
Feels much better now:-)

Thanks I did similar I played with the air flow meter and replaced the relay still would run and then die, makes no sense but I then fitted the wrong ecu on purpose and it ran fine, so swapped for the correct ecu and perfect bizarre

Still not sure if it will be success next time. Atthe moment we focus on a thermostat and hopefully I`ll get her back on Tuesday... still not done...
So after changing the airflow meter and both thermostats it is still a non starter when the engine is warm.
Cold start is not a problem. If the engine is warm there does not seem to be a spark although you can smell gas...
Any idea is welcome - I just don`t know where to look at next...

I would try a new ignition coil, cheap enough and known to break down at temperature as when you shut the car down the under bonnet temperature carries on increasing so restart becomes impossible. An aerosol of freeze spray can help a lot with diagnosing possible electrical component breakdowns such as coils or ignition amplifiers.
