Coming home yesterday I closed my side screen and the bit sticking out (knob) fell off leaving a rectangular hole in the side screen. I have the piece which fell out which fits neatly in the hole.
Could anyone recommend an adhesive which will fix it back in place without making too much of a mess of marking the Perspex?

I did mine with superglue. Worked a treat.

I've used clear two part epoxy glue on perspex Gary. It dries to similar colour but be careful not to smear it on other than mating surfaces.

Super glue Gary but with great care to avoid any on the surfaces you look through. By the way it is a feature, they all fall out.

It`s the new air conditioned sidescreen!. I superglued mine a few years ago and it is still there - I used Locktite gel superglue - easier to control.

Like Graham, I rarely used side-screens (past tense because I don't have the car anymore) but when the window-opening lug fell off once I used this here . Transparent and very strong. Never fell off again.

Many thanks for the comments. I have put it back with Superglue. I’ll report back in a few days if it holds or not.

A minor, but useful, tip - when you want to slide the side-screen open use the lug to bring it back just enough to get your fingers through the leading edge then simply pull the side-screen back. To close, don't use the lug at all but push the window back using the rear edge. Both of these are left-handed operations.
