quality journalism - the funeral will cost £75k... but he's literally sinking a £150k car into it. Which to me sounds like a £225k funeral.

& surprisingly " the hand-made car, which Allen says is not even full water or airtight,"
uh huh... an airtight car. Now there's a thought.

Joyous nonsense!

Yes, and also the waffle of how difficult it was to find a 'Max, the actual car he bought was on brokerage sale for a very long time at the Hairpin Co

He “appreciates automotive art”.
So he buys it and then plans to stop others appreciate it?
It’s like any work of art that is bought and hidden away by someone with enough money to do so. Private art collections effectively deprive others of viewing and appreciating it. Imagine the Mona Lisa being bought and kept in a private collection. Fair enough if it is on loan to a publicly accessible gallery.
But then, is that a trait of some who amass a fortune through their high ambitious and self centred ideals?
Debate..... laugh2

Well the good news that his look-at-me moment worked. We all looked, laughed and realised he was a Plonker.

I quite agree with all the negative comments. i regard myself as a custodian of a piece of automotive art which i purchased to use and enjoy in my time with it, but also with a responsibility to pass it on in due course, (although not for a good number of years i hope!) in well maintained usable condition to the next custodian.
