One of my wire wheels is out of true. Fortunately I have a spare and as they are pinted wires MWS sells new one at under £200.
But does anyone know of someone in the Bucks / Herts area who can repair them economically?

I bet they are dearer to repair than buy new.

Dave,
yes that was how I saw it too & MWS are in Slough so roughly a 25 min drive away.
But the make do & mend in me says it is stupid to do that.

Motorbike shops will have or know a spokesman. But unless it's an old bloke who does it for pleasure, expect a big bill.

Some of the better powder coating firms offer spoked wheel building.
If it only a bit out of true, can you not try and fix it yourself. I know that it's much less complicated (less spokes), but I have trued a fair few bicycle wheels.
