I think Lewis could have held his ground when Max lunged up the inside and possibly punctured the red bulls rear tyre with his front wing. Lewis took avoiding action which sums up his sportsmanship in my eyes.
A reversal of the situation would undoubtedly have led to max not giving ground and the two colliding.
I hope I'm wrong but unless max matures or is reigned in a bit he will kill or seriously injure another driver.
It wouldn't surprise me if Massi keeps his job, all this drama has been great for the viewing figures I'm sure.

Not the race or result I'd hoped for but I think Lewis and Mercedes may well come Back stronger and even more determined next year. I don't think the appeals will be successful, at least I hope not because the whole thing really would become a farce. (As if it wasn't already!!) The winners are the media moguls, the loser is racing in general imho. +1

Despite all the "Gangsta" epithats, Lewis was dignified and magnanimous in his post interview comments. I cannot imagine the disappointment and sense of loss that he must have felt at losing the title when it looked in the bag.
I think the Mercedes appeals are doing a disservice to him.

At least that's how it felt to me. This a quote from Lewis from the cockpit - Lewis Hamilton said "this has been manipulated" in a radio message to his Mercedes team after the controversial ending to the Abu Dhabi GP. You can but agree, it's a hollow victory for the axeman and Horner due to the Masi not them but money talks and RB have plenty and I've been around too long to see this result as anything else but a fix...

Conspiracy theories abound but as a non involved fan, I thought it was great. Next season we may have dancing bears, go-go dancers ( remember them? ) and some real racing!!
